Dry brushing is a quick and easy way to achieve a stained or distressed look for a piece of furniture. In dry brush, you keep the paint brush dry but still wet enough to hold paint to apply to the furniture. With this technique, the brush leaves characteristic scratchy looks on the furniture surface.
