Wow! What an awesome DIY project! I came across this DIY drum smoker today and was really amazed, as I bought a smoker last winter for over two hundred bucks. We had a lot of good time out of the smoker, but should I had seen this DIY smoker at that time, I would probably have made it myself too.
This smoker is built out of a 55 gallon metal drum. If you spot such a 55 gallon metal drum, your new meat smoker is half done! The other half is just how, which is pretty straightforward if you following the at The At Home Welder.
Now it is time to go hunt for drums in your local scrap yard!
